Play Away, located in Hackettstown, NJ, is a custom-designed play place, geared towards children ages 0-6 years old. Children up to 8 years old are welcome. Socks are required for ALL guests. GRIP socks are recommended.

Play Away has 5 FREE parking spaces BUT all other spaces are Meter parking and require quarters. Parking Lot is located behind building between High St & Sharp St.

Play Away features kid-favorite woodland creatures in our charming woodland village. Our woodland home play spaces are specifically made for your little ones to enjoy. Each home is filled with toys and costumes to inspire your children to play, imagine and explore.

OPEN PLAY HOURS:

  • Mon - Wed: 9:30am - 5:30pm (Last walk in 4:45pm)

  • Thurs: CLOSED

  • *Fri-YAY (Discount Play for both sessions!): 9:30am-12:30pm & 4:00pm-7:00pm (Last walk in 6:15pm)

  • Sat: 9:30am-12:30 (Last walk in 11:30am) Saturday hours may vary.

  • Sun: CLOSED (Pop Up hours, check header & social media)

Play Away offers a designated space for adults and children to eat.

Parking
There is a parking lot available between High Street and Sharp Street for guests. We offer a few parking spots designated to Play Away guest. When these spots are not available, there is metered parking in the parking lot, as well as along Main Street.
